Angel Academy of Art, yeah!

Maybe you still remember my previous journal entries where I was all hyper about crossing the pond and going to Northern America to study classical academic painting?

Well, I've finally decided :) I've been accepted at Angel Academy of Art ( [link] ) in Florence, and my decision to go there is the final one. My deposit is already there and I'm looking for a room or apartment now.

Why Italy: Being European it's of course easier for me to live in Italy - I don't need a visa for it, and getting there is much faster and cheaper too :heart: Plus, I've been to Florence before and love the town, and I've even found a roommate. Furthermore, Angel Art school was pretty much on top of my list of schools I sent applications to.

I'm of course utterly delighted that I my application was accepted, and now I can't wait till autumn! :D

I'm so happy. :heart:

ich lern grad für meine letzte abiturprüfung :D danach studier ich kunst.

ich verdiene mir zwar ziemlich regelmäßig was mit freelance-auftragsarbeiten dazu, aber da ich davon nicht leben könnte, kann ich mich kaum professionell nennen. aber ich arbeite dran :)

ich hätte da eine frage bezüglich deines beruflichen werdegangs..studierst du kunst oder bist du fest berufstätig oder bist du ein freelanceer?

ich weiß nämlich nicht welche sparte ich einschlage soll und da wollte ic mein wissen etwas erweitern.

I would like to practise. But I wouldn't know what to speedpaint. I like having references. I'm not that good without them. It's great suggestion though. At the moment I'm getting help from Sara - Mckadesinsanity :)

Practice as much as you can :D how about starting a speedpaint thread at a forum like Pixelbrush.net ? Just think about how much you'll learn when you do one speedpaint every day... (it helped me a lot too) :)
