bildkunst.de - [link] (And give us this day our daily bread) For three days, Alainiëlle had been sitting on the Eternal Flower, which had survived every dry summer in the desert for thousand years now. But those days people worried even about this flower, for it had not rained for three months and Alainiëlle surely was not the only one who had noticed that the Eternal Flower appeared more withered than usual. She sat on the dry, rustling leaves, hoping to be nearer to the goddess of rain this way. Glainah'Harpel, what was she doing right now? The goddess of rain, worshipped by Alainiëlle's tribe, never had left the people alone before; she always sent them rain, the cold rain, drops as fine as pearls are, onto the dried earth, where thereupon everything started blooming, just as if the garden of Eden was created anew. The rain simply didn't come. Pose Reference: ~auralis-stock |
