Maybe you still remember my previous journal entries where I was all hyper about crossing the pond and going to Northern America to study classical academic painting?

Well, I've finally decided I've been accepted at Angel Academy of Art ( [link] ) in Florence, and my decision to go there is the final one. My deposit is already there and I'm looking for a room or apartment now.

Why Italy: Being European it's of course easier for me to live in Italy - I don't need a visa for it, and getting there is much faster and cheaper too Plus, I've been to Florence before and love the town, and I've even found a roommate. Furthermore, Angel Art school was pretty much on top of my list of schools I sent applications to.

I'm of course utterly delighted that I my application was accepted, and now I can't wait till autumn!

I'm so happy.
